Bournemouth Pilates is based in a relaxing studio in BH7. We run small group Pilates classes, which focus on individualised teaching, and confidence building. We run classes specifically designed for beginners and mixed classes for anyone looking for mindful movement.

We run mat based Pilates, with modified exercises, to allow everyone to feel the benefit.

We use a range of small equipment during classes, such as; Pilates balls, blocks, massage balls, foam rollers and Pilates rings (magic circles).

Expert Guidance

Classes are run by Laura, a Physio and Certified Pilates Instructor, who has been teaching Pilates since 2012.

Laura has been teaching Pilates since 2012, when she began her training with APPI. She teaches modified Pilates, based on the classical Pilates repertoire created by Joseph Pilates.

Her background in Physiotherapy means she is able to tailor the exercises to suit the individual class participants and adapt classes to meet the goals of those attending.

She has taught Pilates over many years, in many different environments from elite athletes, sports teams, spinal injury centre, occupational health and in corporate employment settings.

Do you feel too old? Too stiff? Too unfit? Unready?

These classes are for everyone, no matter where you are starting from or what your goal is. Pilates can be adapted to suit everyone.

The studio is a judgement free zone, it does not matter what you wear, if you have done your hair, your make up…. you are there for you, for future you.
